The Port finish moves the whisky towards richer fruit, wine-like character and warming spice.
Nose
Aromatic and wine-like, with candied orange peel, red berries, raspberry and cherry, backed by cinnamon and clove.
Palate
Rich and syrupy, with prominent dried fruits including raisin and prune, Christmas-pudding richness, ginger and clove spice.
Finish
Warm, with a sweet caramel character.
Colour
Amber.
