Why we use it

We use personal information to administer memberships, provide secure Members Only access, fulfil orders and member benefits, arrange age-verified delivery, run events, respond to enquiries, maintain accounting and tax records, protect the website and prevent fraud. Where you separately choose to receive marketing, we also use your contact details for those communications.

Lawful bases

Depending on the activity, we process information because it is necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with a legal obligation, pursue legitimate business and security interests, or because you have given consent.

Who we share information with

Where necessary, information may be shared with service providers used for website hosting, membership administration, accounting and payments, delivery and age verification, events, professional advice and legal or regulatory compliance. We do not sell member data.

How long we keep information

We retain records only for as long as needed for the relevant membership, order, event, accounting, tax, legal, security or legitimate business purpose. Records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when they are no longer required.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and in some cases to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Members Only security

Member passwords are not stored as readable text. They are stored using one-way password hashing. Access is restricted to active, approved accounts and secure session cookies are used to keep members signed in.

Cookies

The Members Only area uses strictly necessary session storage/cookies for authentication and security. Any future non-essential analytics or marketing technologies will be handled separately in accordance with applicable requirements.
